Dr. Sedofia is an astute educationist with specialization in the field of educational and occupational psychology, guidance and counseling.

He is a lecturer at the University of Ghana, prior to his current job, he was part of a team that had helped to mould and shape teacher quality and education at the St. Francis College of Education, Hohoe. His intervention in quality assurance resulted in producing the finest crop of trained teachers during his time.

Dr. Sedofia has a natural flare for research and has seven publications to his credit, two of his write ups are awaiting publication. His research areas include School/Academic Counselling, Vocational/Career Counselling, Teacher Education and Development.

In the areas of innovation and development, he had contributed significantly to many institutions he worked with. He is the key motivation behind the preparation of College Improvement Plan and the College Development Plan for St. Francis College of education.

He is gifted in resource mobilization and fund raising activities. His technical knowledge and expertise in resource mobilization contributed to his ability to attract funding from DFID in support of a number of developmental projects at St. Francis College of Education. 

He has academic qualifications in B.Ed (Psychology), M. Phil (Guidance and Counselling) and a PhD in Guidance and Counselling. He is a member of the University Teachers Association of Ghana (UTAG), Ghana Psychological Association (GPA) and Counselling Association of Ghana (CAGh).
